The original project was to take four assigned names/concepts and design them as roadsigns using only silhouettes and provided colours.
This rework was to convert the project from a print medium to digital motion for use as an interactive AR display.

The main goal of this project was to increase user interactivity at a point of interest where the project is implemented at, generating more traffic and attraction. Another side benefit was getting more people familiar with Augmented Reality and pushing that technology forward as a whole.
Example concept for real use would be signs at an amusement park or museum come alive and animate when revealed through an AR lens on mobile devices.
After researching AR DevKits to find the appropriate one for the project, I’ve chosen EyeJack due to functionality and ease of implementation.
The designs were taken into Adobe Illustrator where they were updated, polished, and optimized for animation before being imported to After Effects.
The designs were animated into 5-8 second looping animations and exported with transparency, and converted to GIFs in Photoshop.
The final GIFs received EyeJack implementation and a QR code was generated for public use.
